NO HITTER IN MOTOWN

YES, I'M SHOUTING! Justin Verlander, is only 24 years old, but he threw a masterpiece last night against the Milwaukee Brewers at Comerica Park that inked his name into the record books. He was aided by some spectacular defense, most notably, the sliding catch by Ordonez in right field and the double play by Perez, Polanco and Casey. What a night for Justin, his fans and the Detroit Tigers!

Baseball fan?? Me too! If the Mariners are playin' I'm watchin'! Even when they aren't playing so well, I will be there right with them cheering them on all the way!

Not a baseball fan here but I can feel your excitement!

Hooray for Verlander. As a Boston fan we had an almost no hitter with Schilling last week - gave up a hit with two outs in the ninth inning. :(

I'm not even a big baseball fan, unless the Diamondbacks are involved, but I heard about this! Quite an accomplishment.
